The organization is governed by a seven- member Executive Committee which is formed through election for three years. The executive members are national experts, industry leaders, dedicated team members and staffs. Additionally, the organization may have coordinators in different thematic areas nominated by the EC. Coordinators, in coordination with the EC, will lead their thematic areas and represent the organization.

Bimal Kumar Sharma is the president at CIT Nepal, founding President of Computer Association of Nepal, and founding General Secretary of History Association of Nepal.Sharma is also an Associate Professor of History at Trichandra College, Kathmandu. He joined University as an instructor in 1978, and was gradually promoted to Assistant Lecturer, Lecturer and Associate Professor.He served as Assistant Campus Chief from 1991-1993. During this period he also worked as Acting Campus Chief for about a year. Between 2008 and 2013 Sharma worked as the Head of Department of History in the same college.
In addition to the education sector, Sharma worked as a Member-Secretary at Lumbini Development Trust between 1997 and 2000. During this period he published dozens of research articles. Sharma has been honored by the medal Suprabal Gorkha Dakkshin Bahu from the then King Birendra and the medal Dirgha Sewa Padak from Tribhuwan University. From 1988 to 1998, Sharma worked as Managing Director at Computer Consult Pvt. Ltd, coordinated to develop various computer training courses for training centers, and also advocated the need of computer education for government officials. He worked in the capacity of coordinator with the Education Committee of Computer Association of Nepal from 1992 to 1994. He also actively coordinated in award selection committee (ICT Excellence Awards, etc) since its inception in 2010. |

Suryasharan Regmi is the Vice President of CIT Nepal. He is the ship Executive member of Institute of Local Governance Study. He is also the advisor at Narayani Environment Protection and Local Resource Management Center (NEPAL RMC) and involved with other reputed associations, too.Regmi, who holds master’s degree from Tribhuwan University, has served the government by working as a government officer for 32 years from section officer to joint secretary (including Chief District Office, Local Development Officer) and also served in different capacities in Industry, Commerce and Supply, Department of Cottage Industry, Land Reform, Local Development, Home Ministry, Commission for Investigation on Abuse of Authority. He has also expertise in local governance.
Regmi has conducted study and research on various subjects, including anti-corruption strategy, fund management, organization and development survey of trauma hospital. He has travelled different countries such as USA, Finland, Germany, S. Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong, Morocco, South Africa, Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, Bangladesh, India, the Philippines and Malaysia. |

Narayan Bahadur Thapa started his career as a manager in a national weekly newspaper (New Janachetana weekly) at the age of 17. He worked for three years in different roles, including reporter and in that period newspaper was able to be classified in ‘KHA’ category by press council, the then HMG.He switched his career into IT in 2002 and since then worked in several local companies as a trainer, chief faculty, developer till February 2005. Later in 2005, he joined US based IT company Best Commerce Tools as a programmer and promoted to lead programmer and then project manager during his tenure ended in 2007 December. In the meantime, by 2006 he founded Kathmandu based IT Company and after January 2008 onwards working as CTO.
Thapa passed Redhat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification on 2006 and completed Master’s degree in IT in 2011. He is an expert on web enabled services and serves as a lecturer at different colleges for Bachelor and Master level students. Besides CIT Nepal, Thapa is associated with different social organizations such as Computer Association of Nepal, Nepal AOTS Alumni Society, JCI Patan and others. |

Bhubaneshwor Sharma started his career at the age of seventeen with Explore Nepal (NGO). He was involved in awareness rising to prevent the use of plastic bags in Kathmandu and in campaigns to avoid the use of three-wheelers (Bikram Tempo).In 2000, Sharma established Softech Infosys Pvt. Ltd, an IT Company, and currently serving as a managing director. He is involved in ICT services, ICT training, software development, and various IT related consultancy for governmental and non-governmental organizations through his company.
Sharma is a founding treasurer and has contributed a lot to the development of ICT through CIT Nepal. |

Ambika Prasad Luitel started his career at the age of nineteen at CHIP House Pvt. Ltd., Kathmandu as a computer network trainer.Luitel founded Network Associates Pvt. Ltd, IT Company in 2001.
Since establishment, he has been involved in network solution, ICT training, deployment of client server network, wireless network, software development and various IT related consultancy for governmental and non-governmental organizations. Currently he is involved in Softech Foundation Pvt. Ltd; and Pravidhi Asia Pvt. Ltd. Luitel completed MCSE and CCNA certification from India in 2003. He has published books for Computer Operator and Computer Basic learners in 2007. Luitel is a founding secretary and has worked a lot for the development of ICT through CIT Nepal. |

Bishnu Hari Baral is the executive committee member in CIT Nepal.He holds a PhD in Agriculture (1984) from Russian Federation.He worked over a year as a Language Assistant for United Nations Mission in Nepal, Kathmandu. He was involved in Cosmic Education Training and Research Academy, Kathmandu as a Research and Development Director for five years.
Baral also served as an Agricultural Adviser for Institute of Sustainable Community Development, Central Office Maharajgunj, Kathmandu for three years. He worked as the Executive Director for NGO Federation of Nepal for two years. In addition he was involved as a Research Horticulturist for Pakhribas Agriculture Centre, Dhankuta, Nepal for seven years. Besides that he also managed to work as an Assistant Vegetable Development Officer for Vegetable Seed Production Centre, Rukum, and Vegetable Development Section, Khumaltar, Lalitpur, Nepal for three years. |
